Irredeemable and Incorruptible
Both written by Mark Waid. Superheroes as we know them are supposed to fight crime, beat up bad guys and help people...but what happens when they don't. Incorruptible is about a bad guy seeing all the superheroes turn bad turning good....It's very good. Irredeemable is good through the first 5 trades and then it gets a little weird....Incorruptible has been good throughout....This is Mature Rated. |

Superman Earth One
This is a graphic novel portraying a very different Superman. An updated version if you will and a very good one at that. Hopefully Stracyznsky has another one in his books...(fingers crossed!) |

Wanted
The movie doesn’t do the graphic novel justice. There’s more to the main character than just his ability to maneuver bullets around objects. |

Fables
I enjoy this because we’ve all read fable stories when we were little. Now see them come alive in our world. Very entertaining and keeps you wanting more. |

World War Hulk
Sending the hulk into outer space? Whattaya nuts? Tell me you think that’s a good idea and I’ll sell you a bridge real cheap. Well they did. But when they did they didn’t forsee him getting caught and becoming a gladiator. Or falling in love and then seeing his wife killed. So what does he do? He returns to earth and seeks revenge against the ones who sent him in the first place. |

Strangers in Paradise
This was a title recommended to me awhile ago but it didn’t really interest me as there were no superheroes. But eventually I submitted and boy was I glad I did. This story by Terry Moore touches your heart and emotions. It makes you laugh, cry and keeps it real. If there was one book to read…it would be this one. |

Walking Dead
Reading these in trade form spoils you because you don’t have to wait every month for the next one (until you catch up). It’s not your typical zombie eat survivors. Oh, it's in there but that’s just a distraction for what's really going on. What’s interesting is how the characters interact and what happens when people around you are dying. Robert Kirkman is not afraid to kill or maim main characters…it just seems to make them stronger or crazier… |
